When does Registration start?

Registration can start as early as January, however, it can vary. All Registrations are generally completed by the middle of April. Exceptions may apply if more players are needed for teams. Check the website regularly for updates and info.
 

When does the baseball season start and end?

The season starts in mid/end of May. Games can be scheduled around this time also, so practices could start earlier as long as the baseball diamonds are dry.
The season runs until the end of July/mid-August. Lower divisions end before the higher divisions. Lower divisions have an end of season tournament and higher divisions end in playoffs.

Is a Uniform Bond required?

No, At Angus Minor Baseball there is no uniform bond required for player uniforms.  However, all jerseys and hats are required to be returned at the end of the season by all players.
 

How many players are on a team?

Teams are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Each team requires a minimum of 9 players to a maximum of 14 players for T-Ball to Pee Wee. A maximum of 16 players is allowed for Bantam and Midget.
 

What days are the practices and games?

This is determined by the Coach and is dependent on their availability. Once the number of teams is determined after Registration, then the schedule is made based on all of the Coach's availability.

T-Ball has practices/games once a week in Angus on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Timings can be from 8-12 depending on the baseball diamond availability.

Jr Rookie and up have two practices/games a week in Angus that can be Monday through Friday in the evenings and on Saturday and Sunday.

Once league games start there will also be away games that are dependent on the away team’s schedule and baseball diamond availability which can result in three (Jr Rookie and up) practices/games per week.
 

Which baseball diamonds do we play at in Angus?

T-Ball plays at Community Park – 6 Huron Street.

Jr Rookie and Sr Rookie play at Lion’s Park – 4 Park Road.

11U and 13U  play at community and Geddes park  

15u  and 18u  play at Geddes Park – 147 Centre Street.
